Work-related burn out and work ethics
How to create a Healthy n happy environment throughout the year and follow work ethics not only during or beginning of the year but throughout,
as after a few months we all start feeling burnt out mainly from around August/September why?
This is due to us not setting our priorities for the year, or we don’t even set our goals, short term and long term?
No planning, no strategies, when we realise halfway through the year that we are far behind with our work, we start getting frustrated that the year is almost over, and nothing has been achieved/accomplished as we had expected but we had not planned or note down to follow the SMART goal.
You must set your SMART goal, which translates to Specific, measurable attainable rational timebound
You need to set your own framework when it comes to your work and decide if you are going achieve your goal the – smart way or through hard work, time-management skills are very important, so you don’t pile up work and add more stress,
In my practice I have experienced, when one cannot reach their optimal potential, it creates Anxiety and depression, even when their past year goal is not achieved, especially when they are perfectionists, so I suggest rather be progressive then perfectionist.
Work ethics: work according to your job description and time frames, once you master this then work beyond your job description, add more creativity and energy towards to your work, which leads you to your growth? Be part of the team, take initiative to learn from others and have the spirit to teach (pass on your knowledge to) each other
Diversity = diverse people =varsity is university
Synchronized energy = Synergy
You can achieve everything with these two words, where your workplace becomes enjoyable and burn out becomes just a word.
If you are feeling burnt out or demotivated, then shift yourself to a different environment, like watching a movie, listening to music, meditation, Gym, sports or hobbies to re-energise yourself.

The Dark Side of High-Pressure Jobs
As I shared in my first video, the trend is clear: people are prioritizing work over human values and lifestyle.
It’s no surprise that I’ve seen majority of clients seeking balance and support, this usually happens around the end of September – October but this year it has started at the end of June – July.
The burnout is real! and it highlights the growing demand for support in achieving work-life balance.
Many of my clients are trapped in a cycle of overworking, sacrificing their personal lives and well-being for the sake of their careers and the ambition of a better life.
They earn good salaries, but at what cost? Long hours, constant connectivity, and intense targets are leaving them little to no time, to enjoy the money they make, relaxation, relationships, and the most important is self-care.
I share few examples:
Some Clients experiences that they work until 3:30 am, laptop always by side, while others are busy from 8:30 am to 11 pm, skipping meals and barely taking breaks.
For clients, even holidays become stressful when work intrudes, and the line between work and personal life blurs.
Is the pursuit of wealth worth sacrificing one’s quality of life?
Few clients mentioned that they get alert notifications, and partner gets upset! baby wakes up….
The others described that they are not comfortable with having been moved from one department to the other and this creates stress in their life.
I have observed switching of Roles and responsibilities even Without job descriptions also cause lot of imbalances at work!
Like that there are many real-life stories!
The pertinent question is – what is the value of their high salaries? – when this costs them their happiness – time with loved ones, relaxation, and simple pleasures like gym or hobbies?

Time to Rethink Priorities https://youtu.be/QXJ7GGpE6PU
Isn’t it time for organizations to focus on work-life balance and employees wellness programs?
The current pace is unsustainable, and employees are paying the price.
By prioritizing employee’s well-being, organizations can create a healthier, in fact more productive work environment. organisation should include meditation, yoga, some light indoor games, library, laughing meditation, art and painting activities, music therapy, this can not only work as stress buster, but it will enhance creativity at work environment too, where employees can have emotional balance from their heavy daily routines.
The critical Question is: Can organisations afford to have this type of wellness programs? Or ignore the well-being of their employees, or is it time to make a change? It all depends on Choices!
In my next video, I’ll delve deeper into the importance of coping skills, healthy lifestyles, and the impact of work-life balance on physical and mental health.
Stay tuned for a more in-depth exploration of these critical topics!

The True Cost of High-Pressure Jobs
Does a high-pressure job really compensate with a high lifestyle? For many, the answer is unclear.
While high-pressure jobs may offer financial rewards, they often come at the cost of physical and mental wellbeing, the constant stress and long hours can damage relationships, turn home into a source of anxiety, and wreak havoc on physical and mental health, that means overall quality of life.
As client sadly put it, despite having a beautiful apartment/house with an amazing view, they hardly ever get to enjoy it. The demands of work consume their life, leaving them anxious and sleepless.
Others mentioned, having lovely kids but can’t spend time with them as both partners are working and on call during the weekends.
Even clients describe their house, kitchen so spacious and beautiful but has no time to enjoy it as always rely on take aways…..
The point here is: Is the price worth paying?
I leave it to you…. To Think about this?

The Reality of Remote Work https://youtu.be/D9Sl05J3Enk
Working from home isn’t always as idyllic as it seems.
Mostly, it is perceived as easy and simple to work from home, especially for women.
The flexibility can quickly blur the line between work and personal life, especially when dealing with different time zones. When working with international organisations. Sometimes work creeps into personal time and space, making it hard to disconnect or clock out and recharge.
This leads to increased stress and unhealthy eating/sleeping habits.
Clients reported that, despite saving commute time, they end up logging longer hours, struggle to disconnect, and sacrifice healthy meals for junk food.
The Ripple Effect: Remote work can also disrupt and affect the home environment, causing tension and stress among partners, as well as with family members.
The blurred line between work and personal life can lead to conflicts in relationships, a sense of isolation, and ultimately, affect overall well-being.
Thanks and all the best

Taking Control/Charge
Let’s think about strategies to protect our mental health and manage stress levels.
Some key areas to focus on and include:
1. Boundary Setting: Establishing clear work-life boundaries to prevent burnout.
2. Self-Care: Prioritising activities that promote relaxation and well-being.
Such as listening to music, meditation, watching interesting movies, TV shows, theatre performances, sports, and indoor games, in fact, it can make you more creative and productive at work. Like work becomes a hobby and vice versa.
3. Time Management: also plays an effective Role in this, so learn to prioritise tasks and manage time.
4. Clear Communication is Key: Setting clear expectations is crucial yet important. This means:
A. Workplace: Discussing job descriptions with management, clarifying tasks, and communicating your expertise, try to draw the boundaries with colleagues and bosses for after-hours tasks unless it’s an emergency, also depends on what kind of role you are playing at the workplace.
B. Home: Setting clear expectations with partner and family members about work hours, availability, your role, responsibility and requirements towards the job.
5. Healthy Habits: Fostering healthy habits, such as regular exercise, healthy food, and most importantly, sufficient sleep.
By following all these points, we can avoid misunderstandings, reduce stress, and create a more harmonious work-life balance.
