Wishing you the Best Mental Health Day

Happy Mental Health Day!

It’s easy to say, Be Happy, Be healthy Mentally and physically!
For this, of course Family and Friends support structure adds a lot to our mental health wellbeing!
How can the family members and friends help the person suffering from mental illness?
Recognise the symptoms of Depression, Anxiety and Bi-polar disorder, where the person feels lonely, hopeless- helpless, panic/anxious, difficulty in handling simple situations, throwing temper-tantrums or aloofness, constant crying, loss of drive and interest in routine activities.

Sometimes becoming totally withdrawn… on a lighter note the word most used now-a-days is “Self-Quarantine”!
Bipolar disorder where it shows dual personality what was said and done is two totally different things, this personality intentionally or unintentionally creates conflicts in their surroundings to boost their value.
The constant mood swings and delusional symptoms can cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational and many other areas of functioning.
Please encourage them to avail themselves to professional help and let the qualified person deal with the situation with the necessary therapeutic processes as you can do more damage than good in trying to guide  someone in this situation.

Lets take a moment to understand depression on this amazing Mental Health Day!
