Valentine Day With Senior Citizens

Self-care

Self-Care where you enhance and maintain your physical, mental and emotional well-being.

And how do we do that?

First, regular medical check-ups, eating on time- portion control, exercises, enough sleep, finding moments to pause in from your activities which is your self-assessment that what I have done and what else I can do or I need to take rest and nap then recharge again, something to think over.

It’s not just about Spa Day, Coffee Day, Kitty Day, social day and of course today’s Valentine’s Day its about us how we pursue all this and add value in our life.

It doesn’t mean we are selfish, its misinterpreted we always think what people will say? who are the people? its same people will say you didn’t look after yourself.

Just see like today

It’s like a curiosity! how we going to enjoy? who we going to meet who is going to attend? What will be the food? and what would be the activities? even What to wear?  This all things count as common /general but small things can also create excitement in life?

This kind of moments lets you reset, focus on self-care, and support your body and brain’s functioning, it boosts emotional stability,  focus and most importantly our immune system.

Therefore, it is important to follow the self-care and believe in it.

SELF- LOVE

Treat yourself with Kindness, Self- Respect and Self-compassion.

the way you do for family children husband, siblings, friends, you need to love yourself.

This will help you to recognize your worth, self- values, self-esteem, confidence. These are the core aspects of self-love.

Admire your good qualities and at the same time embrace your flaws.

Nobody is perfect, this flaws/imperfection makes us unique amongst others, flaws can be anything physical or some sort of behaviour issues like stubborn, specific personality traits , that actually makes us unique human, instead of hiding them, embracing flaws can be super liberating from all stress.

– so self- care, self-acceptance is important for self-love

Its vice-versa if you love yourself you care for yourself and if you care that means you love yourself?

The feeling of “I am doing this for myself” is very important

Live the life king size and enjoy every moment.

Thereafter, group played the game of “virtual secret gift”
1.I’ll describe a gift, and you guess what it is. If you guess right, you get the virtual gift 🎁!

Here’s the description: “It’s something small, sweet, and often given on special occasions.”

Guess what it is?  Ans: Chocolate
and so on.
