Interpersonal Relationship

Relationship Circle: to take you towards love, intimacy and healthy
relationships.

These are the pillars of relationships, to strengthen the relationship
within family or at workplace.

Couple/marital conflict:

Most couples fail to follow this circle
If it is asked of them, where they are in this circle and they just say
less than 50% mainly to commitment and communication.

In the hustle and bustle of life, people are more focused on their
personal and professional priorities. Majority of people reply that
professional growth is their priority.

Unhealthy Competition is becoming a major issue whether it be with
spouse/ siblings or at the workplace, people are busy “proving” themselves in a limitless space.
Where they unintentionally create a wider gap and vacuumed life.

We need to balance work-life situations, whether we are with family,
or at work, it is teamwork, and teamwork always has more strength,
teamwork means turn weaknesses into strength and create more
opportunities.

Members can share the vision, assist in achieving it and complement
each other’s skills. This will develop the personality towards
authentic relationships.

When parents are busy with their work, children feel isolated as
there is nobody to talk to them or they don’t have anyone to share
and offload emotional baggage.

Specially with the Covid-19 situation where people started working
from home, their work time has been extended till late night, or n
hours have been set as compared to working from the office, where
once they left the office, they would spend quality time with their
family.

Children were studying from home which affected their “social”
school interaction with friends and outsiders. Now when they are
back at school, they are again restricted in their interaction due to
covid protocol.

This seems to be invading each other’s space, more like controlling
thought process, though it is not controlling but to guard the family
member, yet it is perceived as a restriction. Also misunderstood the
word being together or enjoying “togetherness”.

This causes a lot of friction within the family.
Therefore, the circle of relationship is very important to follow
The above-mentioned misunderstandings could be aired out through
communication and commitment in the relationship.

Communicate with and trust the family member whether it is
spouse, siblings, parents, in-laws, colleagues, or children, be the
good listener and have patience to understand the problem.

Win the confidence of member, be transparent and explain rather
then feeling agitated, frustrated and to keep quite in anger.
Motivate your surroundings by indulging them into activities.

Respect the members and their emotions, provide them with open
discussion to offload their emotional baggage, rather then
suppressing.

Be responsible towards yours and other’s requirement, create a
culture of support structure within family, friends, colleagues.

Seek professional help, it is not necessary that each conflict such as
marital/couple or parent-child, office colleagues can be treated as
psychological problems related to sever mental illness??

It could be based on daily routine life with adjustment, adaptation,
or any type of pressure and stress related matter such as work,
family, studies, demands, finance etc.

Sometimes we are failed to understand our own people which then
creates conflict in the relationship.

Every relationship has its own expectations and demands, when these become emotional manipulations, it causes conflict and agony in the relationships.

Manipulators then start blaming and shaming the other party in the name of negativity, jealousy, incompetency, incompatibility, inferiority, etc. thus creating fear, obligation, and guilt within the relationship.

In fact, these tags are only for the sake of the individual’s ego-boosting and to control other people by projecting that they are perfect, and others are wrong???

Also, people are having myths and misconception about psychology that it falls
strongly under mental illness that is then gets attached to stigma.
